Hi, I’m Gina Leggio. Having been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 20 years, I’ve observed how the mental health field has emphasized self-esteem. I’ve also noticed how this can be counterproductive because it involves self-evaluation, which causes insecurity, anxiety, and more. I define Selfless Esteem as freedom from self-consciousness by focusing on our Creator, who is “the Beginning and the End” (Revelation 1:8). The result is joy and peace.
