Welcome to Beyond The Speech!
In this episode, I speak about the takeaways I found most interesting in the book Indistractable by Nir Eyal.
Nir Eyal writes, consults, and teaches about the intersection of psychology, technology, and business.
He previously taught as a Lecturer in Marketing at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford.
Nir is the author of two bestselling books
- Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products
- Indistractable: How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life.

The main takeaways I found from the book that I think are worth sharing are about
- Internal Triggers
- External Triggers
- Time Blocking

In addition, I talk about a specific hack that I have for myself that helps me control my phone addictions. Its an app called "Opal". If you want to learn more about it, check out the link below.

I am no way affiliated with this company, but I just LOVE it.
