Cynthia Lau is a twenty-five year old of Chinese, Spanish and Cuban descent. She was born in Holguin in Cuba, but migrated with her family to the USA when she was five.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a master’s degree in business administration from Nova Southeastern University.
When she was thirteen she was diagnosed with a gastrointestinal tumor, which taught her to truly live life to the fullest. This led her to work and lobby for cancer research and the importance of prevention through early detection.
As an advocate for climate change and wildlife conservation, she works as a global ambassador of the World WildLife Fund and a member of Greenpeace International. Through her project the Eco Pact Initiative, Cynthia focuses on creating awareness and promoting environmental social justice by partnering with individuals, organizations, companies or governmental entities one action at a time.
Today, she is the Director of Business Development for a Real Estate Company and an entrepreneur currently developing her own company focused on sustainable women's footwear whilst her love for acting has led her to partake in different projects such as theater, tv commercials, and soap operas.
