On the first day of school in 2019, ICE raids took parents away from their kids in rural Mississippi. Schools were totally unprepared for supporting their students. In this episode, we will review a guide I put together in partnership with those schools in Mississippi that offers ways to preemptively prepare for children's needs in the event that their caregivers are taken away by ICE or other catastrophes.
