Welcome to the Force and Friction Podcast, your go-to show for the latest RevOps strategies, discussions, and interviews.

In today’s episode, we’re going to be discussing the secrets to hiring a team that is built to implement your RevOps strategy.

We have four core areas to discuss with the team today on how to implement a data-driven culture:

1: Hiring RevOps Team Members
The first step is to assess what type of people and which roles need to be filled in your RevOps team. You need to know you’re hiring the best RevOps team members you can, these members can be categorised as the RevOps Leader, the Project Manager, the Data Analyst and the Platform Team.
2: Identifying RevOps Candidates
Once you have assessed the types of roles you need in your team, it's time to assess if you are adding to an existing team, hiring external members. There are essentially three types of candidates for a RevOps role: the operations leader with prior experience, the transitioning generalist, and the credentialed specialist.
3: How to Prioritise Hiring for RevOps
The next step is to consider what to prioritise when hiring for your team, instead of relying on this sense of kinship to pick your next hire, you should ask yourself what your company is lacking; what are you currently unable to do, and what kind of person would be the best fit to do it?
4: Interviewing RevOps Candidates
Finally, the team will walk you through what a successful interview process should look like and key areas you should implement into your interview strategy.
