I had the pleasure of having my new brother, Matt Simpson, on today’s episode as we both “share the mic” and this episode on each of our platforms – check out Worth The Fight podcast.

Matt and I have quite parallel journeys as we both drifted from “successful” corporate America and found ourselves on the path of healing our core wounds; much through psychedelics.

Amongst many other topics, Matt uniquely brings forth a pivotal calling around the importance of healing the trauma of our war veterans. With findings that a vast majority of those who enlist in war have experienced similar childhood trauma, a lack of tribe and often have difficulty connecting on a deep level.

In this episode, Matt and I explore...

→ Integration strategies: journaling, raw ceremonial cacao, micro-dosing.

→ How trauma interferes with our ability to connect authentically and meaningfully.

→ The veteran suicide epidemic & the need for effective healing of trauma in our veteran community.

→ Breaking through the prisons that we put our mind and heart in.

→ Most of the ways in which we filter our experiences is from our childhood trauma.
