Raising Teens (aka Unicorns) with Kirsten Cobabe
Manage episode 282658842 series 2817737
QuaranTEEN can be tough. Raising teenagers is challenging in the best of times, but between quarantine and homeschooling, everyone’s struggles right now are amplified. To help us out, Trista welcomes Family Coach and “Teen Whisperer” Kirsten Cobabe, to talk about all things parenting and provide information on how to better connect and communicate with our teenagers. In this episode, Kirsten shares some incredible tips on how to help our teens form their identities through all the phases of adolescence and your host opens up about a recent learning moment with her son Max and a beautiful moment with daughter Blakesley in hopes that it can help any listeners out there who may be able to relate. Trista shares your questions with Kirsten as they discuss everything from that dreaded “how was school” question parents always ask, to how to navigate bedtime negotiations, to when you should have “the talk” with your kids. Parents out there know that not all moments are good moments, but we should always try to hold on to the positives and keep learning how to be better…and Kirsten’s thoughtful advice can help us all do just that!
You can book a free call with Kirsten on her website kirstencobabe.com, and can find free resources at raisingunicorns.co.
