Bipolar disorder, often known as manic depression, is a mental condition characterized by extreme mood swings, as well as changes in sleep, activity, thinking, and behavior.
Consult your doctor or a mental health expert if you are experiencing signs of depression or mania. Bipolar disorder does not improve by itself. Getting treatment from a mental health professional who has dealt with bipolar disorder before can help you manage your symptoms.
