It was not until 2014 that audiences were first shown a realistic visualization of a black hole in a major motion picture. Those visuals came courtesy of the efforts of Christopher Nolan, who sought to bring viewers the most authentically realized sci-fi film he could. Lacey Hannan goes deep into the black holes of "Interstellar".
