It can be difficult to know what to say when someone has lost a child. It's often easy to believe that our words are more likely to offend than comfort, to make a situation worse rather than better. We may not know what to say, but also know that the worst thing is to say nothing at all.

I recently asked the grieving mothers I have the honor to work with, if there are things people said to them that helped with their loss. that perhaps encouraged them or gave them hope during their time of deep sadness.

  • You're in my prayers
  • I'll never get tired of hearing about your grief
  • Text me any time to let me know you're having a bad day
  • We'll figure this out together
  • One of my favorite memories is...
  • Dinner is on me
  • I'm thinking of you today
  • Can I help with anything?
  • Is there anything I can do for your kids?

You can learn more or schedule a session at www.livealifeyoulove.org or email [email protected]

The Growing Up in Heaven Program is now available at www.livealifeyoulove.org where you'll learn a proven, step-by-step process to connect with, and experience your child as they grow up in Heaven.
