But what happens when you consume a little too much? Does it have a negative impact on your mental health? Do you start to imagine every stranger you meet has skeletons in their closet? And we’re talking real skeletons. Not embarrassing secrets like, “oh, that guy? Yea, he used to spend every evening playing with sock puppets before bed”. Although.. that does sound like something a killer might do? Other big question addressed: do people who become obsessed with true crime actually consider committing crime.. Easiest way to make your own candles at home? Get yourself a candle making kit, obviously… did you not just read the title?? Evenings keep getting shorter, colder and darker. So what better activity to try than making your own candles! Definitely very practical, given the time of year. But is it as exciting as watching paint dry? At least 78,000 are interested in it according to the subreddit, r/candlemaking. While the latter (r/WatchPaintDry) only has 210 members. Maybe that’s all the validation one could need. Regardless, we’re committed. We’ve got the kit and we’ll be discussing what supplies are needed, how to make your own candle, and whether this is the perfect hobby to bother with during the Winter months. P.S. Nasal strips: essentially plasters for your schnoz that help you breathe better. Simple enough. Athletes use them when running. Snotty people use them for congestion. Snorers use them to shut the fck up at night and stop disturbing everyone else. So if you’re an athletic, snotty snorer, you’ve hit the jackpot! You know what question we’re gonna ask though. Should you really bother using them? That’s a lot of promises for what looks like a basic enough plaster you stick on your nose. Do they actually improve your sleep quality? Or help you breathe better while running? And if you would consider your nose to be slightly fuc*ed (e.g. deviated septum), are you the perfect person to benefit? Not a fu*king chance. If you were that invested in plant care, you wouldn’t be killing them in the first place!
