In Getting To Know You, we tackle a creative Halloween twist: “If you had to transform into something (or someone) for Halloween, and stay that way for a year, what would you pick?” Things get wild with these hypothetical transformations!
Then, we discuss the highly anticipated release of Gigantamax Pokémon into Pokémon GO and the massive backlash that followed. With Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise proving nearly impossible to defeat (even with raid parties of 40!), the launch was met with frustration from the community. We examine the challenges trainers faced, the impact on gameplay, and Niantic’s response to the outcry.
