Noelle’s Gift to Children is bringing its Light Up the Night for Noelle spring race to Mud Creek Trail in Chatham on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. Whether you participate as a runner, walker, volunteer, or cheerleader, your presence will make a difference. This family-friendly event brings the community together in support of Chatham-Kent students. Dana Haggith caught up with Wallaceburg resident Bryan Cowden, who helping organize the run, for an interview. Noelle’s Gift is dedicated to supporting students across Chatham-Kent by providing essential resources like school supplies, nutritious food, clothing, and more. Through initiatives such as the Student Nutrition Program, the Noelle’s Gift Closet, and emergency support, the organization ensures students can focus on their education without worrying about their basic needs. The Light Up the Night for Noelle race will help raise the necessary funds to sustain this important work. With a 5KM run/walk and a 1KM kids race, this is an event the whole family can enjoy.
