The crew recovers and checks over the results of the first leg of the race as well as the impact of the Experimental Impulse Drive module. After a somewhat tense reception with the captains of the other vessels, the second leg of the race begins. But things escalate quickly, beginning with a freak radiation burst knocking out controls on the Lyran vessel and rising as a hyper-vegetation incident threatens the Kintsugi itself.
