Jessica Coghill holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and is board certified by the American Nutrition Association as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). She is the founder of Vital Root Wellness, where she helps individuals reconnect with the innate intelligence of their bodies through evidence-based, integrative nutrition. Jessica is passionate about the profound interconnection between the mind, body, and our surroundings. She believes true healing begins when we nourish not just the physical body, but also the environments we live in and the thoughts we carry. A dedicated meditator, she weaves mindfulness into her personal life and professional approach.

In this episode, we talk about how Jessica’s personal health struggles influenced her to pursue a career in nutrition, the ways in which stress can affect your gut health and digestion, and how your mindset can affect your healing progress. Jessica also shares her experience moving and working abroad, how learning a new language (and the struggle that comes with it) is good for your brain, and the morning routine she recommends to set up your day to feel your best.
