Summer is well and truly behind us, but for many members of Australia's Jewish community, the pain inflicted by a series of antisemitic attacks over that period is still raw.

An arson and graffiti attack on a Sydney childcare centre in January triggered a snap meeting of national cabinet, which saw leaders pledge to cooperate to "stamp out" antisemitism in the country.

So with the Albanese Government returning with a bolstered majority, how does Australia's special envoy to combat antisemitism plan to keep the issue in the political spotlight?
