The search continues for both the Canucks and former coach Rick Tocchet, as both sides look for next season's answer. Matt and Blake take a look at where those journeys are at, as well as the growing assumption that it may be a coach without NHL head coaching experience, such as Manny Malhotra or Marco Sturm. The guys also look at the very real possibility that Tocchet has been offered the job in Seattle, and how that will be received here by the fans and the team. John Shannon stops by to discuss some of the other candidates, many that he knows personally, and offers who may or may not be the right fit. John also talks about the wisdom of NHL expansion, with Atlanta(?!) and ite as the reported destinations. Then it's RinkWide Vancouver's Jeff Paterson on the valiant run by the Abbotsford Canucks who advanced to the 3rd round of the AHL playoffs. JPat gets into yet another fabulous performance by Arturs Šilovs, the veterans that have stepped up, and the mild concerns over the recent performance of Jonathan Lekkerimäki. All that, plus a baseball update on the M's and Jays series, and the Whitecaps storm back for a draw against LAFC in front of a season high crowd!
