The housing crisis has been acutely felt by women, who might not earn as much as their male counterparts and generally have less super.

Throw in other circumstances like being a single mother, older, or being subjected to family violence and these factors can make housing affordability unattainable.

So what are the models being looked at to give women and their children affordable long-term homes?
