For the first seven innings, it was another frustrating day at the office for the Mets offense. But a Juan Soto SAC fly in the 8th and a Francisco Lindor SAC Fly in the 9th gave the New York Mets the 2-1 win in the series opener against the Chicago White Sox.

It was a pitcher's duel with Clay Holmes and Adrian Houser battling back at forth. The Mets bullpen continued to be awesome and kept the score at 1-0, allowing the offense to do JUST enough to win the game.

The 5th walk-off of the season for the Mets, and Lindor's 3rd walk-off RBI keeps the ball rolling after taking the series from the Dodgers.
