On weekends Lauren steps into the professional wrestling ring as local Vancouver Island ring announcer Sidney Strode. She also moonlights as a medic backstage.

During the week, Lauren is a full-time Master of Nursing Student studying Indigenous Wellness at the University of Victoria and a Registered Nurse working in public health at First Nations Health Authority. She is a proud citizen of Métis Nation of British Columbia and member of Métis Nation of Greater Victoria.
