37: Stranded Astronauts Rescued, Trump & Perverted Tidbits

Welcome to episode thirty-seven of David & Stu… Unhinged! As always, we'd like to thank Clara Wang for creating the fantastic artwork for this podcast. In this episode, David and Stu cover the following:

1) The dramatic rescue of the astronauts who were stranded in space and what a marvelous achievement that was from a scientific perspective, at least according to Stu. On the other hand, David was thankful for the substantial amount of money SpaceX has raised from Chinese investors, speculating about who Musk is beholden to.

2) Several analogies were discussed between the early days of Hitler's regime and Trump's, including the stifling of dissenting voices, attacks on academic freedom, and the undermining of artistic endeavors through propaganda and fear. There is also a discussion of Musk's affinity and defense for genocidal leaders like Mao, Stalin, and other controversial leaders, as well as his infamous Nazi salute.

3) On a lighter note, Stu shares some stories he came across that are rather salacious.
