The Inquizition

Welcome to season 4, episode 8 of The Inquizition a podcast for quiz and trivia lovers everywhere. Contestants battle it out to become the Masters of the Inquizition with Irish quizmaster Luke Ryan.

The episode is called Ostrich and there are a couple of Ostrich related questions. There are two new rounds. The first is called Gimme 5, where the teams aim to try get the fifth highest answer on a list for five points, but trying not to answer outside of the top 5 lest they lose two points.

The other new round is Long Shot, where teams estimate the distance between two plays (long and short distances) and wager points on whether or not their answer will be closer than the other team’s. So some geography questions relating to the Czech Republic, New York City, Australia, Paris and London.

There are questions relating to the NATO phonetic alphabet, rugby union, there are questions about seas, including the Mediterranean and what lies within it, and alien species from different movies. The teams also had their knowledge tested on cities in the United Kingdom, best selling albums of all time and popular smells.
