Just a few months later, Semina told her mother, Rachel Halliwell, that she had been sexually assaulted by the same boy. Halliwell said the incident "destroyed" her daughter, who had been self-harming in the year before her death. The BBC spoke to Semina’s mother and investigated what role social media apps like Snapchat played in her death.
