 A new study from Dublin City University has found that smartphone bans in schools have little to no impact on students’ education, wellbeing, or online bullying.

The study recommends involving students in policy decisions and shifting the focus away from blanket bans toward smarter, skills-based solutions.

To discuss further we heard from Professor James O’Higgins Norman, Director of DCU Anti-Bullying Centre and UNESCO Chair on Bullying and Cyberbullying and Author of the report.
