Chris Grenzig began his real estate career in 2016 with a focus on residential flipping in Long Island—an effort that proved unsuccessful despite significant time and capital investment. That early setback pivoted his focus toward multifamily, where he started as a passive investor before co-sponsoring over 100 units valued at more than $4.5 million. Soon after, he left his finance role to join Toro Real Estate Partners full-time. Since then, Toro has amassed a portfolio of approximately 4,000 units valued near $285 million.
