Today we cover a couple of albums that were written and recorded by New York artists. First we have Is The Is Are by DIIV, a 17 track album constructed by Zachary Cole Smith and his orchestra and recorded right in Brooklyn... or Queens... it's over there on the border of the two. After that we have the piano rock classic, The Stranger by none other than Billy Joel and his orchestra recorded in none other than Manhattan. That's right folks, the big cheese. Born and raised in New York you can see Ethan every Friday night at Pianos in the Lower East Side mixing and running lights for whatever artist is there shredding face and makin noise.
