We had the chance to sit down with Michael Bautsch and Tullan Avard with The Georgia Aviary to talk about their startup 501(c)3 to create a santurary and research facility for all variations and version of what we commonly parrots. They are still looking for the property to build the aviary and wanted to spread the word about parrots and the work they are doing to both educate and protect.
