The Government has submitted a response to the defendant’s set of supplemental proposed jury instructions, which were filed on June 8, 2025 (Dkt. 388). In its letter addressed to Judge Subramanian, the Government evaluates each additional instruction the defense seeks to introduce, scrutinizing the legal accuracy and appropriateness of these proposals for the jury’s consideration.
In its analysis, the Government likely identifies instances where the defense’s proposed instructions either misstate governing law, overemphasize minor issues, or conflict with established precedents or the Court’s existing instructions. Based on those assessments, the prosecution requests that the Court reject or modify certain of the defendant’s suggested instructions to ensure jurors are provided only with legally sound and properly balanced guidance.
