How can we BE a temple for God?
Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 5:23 that we are body, soul, and spirit - what do each of these components mean and how can we improve in each?
- Spirit
- Must be “born again” - and being made alive in Christ means that you see the rest of reality through a different lens
- Soul
- Mind - we don’t want to conform to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our MINDS - trained to think differently, learning to use your mind to advance the Kingdom and not just yourself
- Emotions - good indicators, bad masters - listen and learn
- Will - what are you doing that is worthy of being a child of God?
- Body
- Be careful of vanity and chasing after temporary things
- Can you serve the Lord…your family…and others in your present physical condition?
