This week on Unpacking Sunday, Mike and Luke take a closer look at the unexpected—and remarkable—response of the King of Nineveh to Jonah’s warning. In a move rarely seen from those in power, the king doesn’t delay, debate, or deflect. Instead, he humbles himself completely, leading the entire city (yes, even the animals!) in fasting and repentance.
It’s a powerful example of what it looks like to truly surrender to God’s authority.
Mike and Luke talk through what real repentance looks like, how we often respond to conviction, and why this story still speaks to us today. From ancient kings to modern hearts, the call is the same: when God speaks, how will we respond?
