Nicole Lange is an acupuncturist who has a Masters in Chinese Medicine, she has spent her entire career focused on working with women. Today she chats with Jody about her wholistic approach to supporting women through their fertility journey. We speak about the impact trauma can have on women's fertility and how the process of trying to fall pregnant can be a traumatic experience for some women.

Nicole believes that it is essential for women to understand that their bodies need to be in a relaxed environment to fall pregnant. She works closely with her clients to educate them about how to prepare for their fertility journey and then how to manage the disappointment of not conceiving and how to move forward after the fertility window comes to an end.

We also talk about perimenopause and HRT in this episode. We touch on why it may be beneficial for women to start hormone replacement therapy in their forties instead of leaving until they are in menopause. Nicole describes how women in perimenopause can become YIn deficient as estrogen declines and how estrogen works as a coolant for the body.\
