A man walked into a church wearing an old, dirty coat. Stained, torn, faded. He tried to stay in the back, unnoticed. But inside, he couldn’t stop thinking, *“I don’t belong here. I don’t measure up. Everyone sees me like this.”*
He wasn’t talking about the coat. He was talking about shame.
That’s how shame works—it convinces you you’re too ruined to be welcomed, too broken to be loved, and too dirty to be near the presence of God.
And today, we’re going to expose that lie.
