The Library Serves Us All. Now They Need Our Help.
Manage episode 494594243 series 3611573
The Fort Vancouver Regional Library district is coming to voters with a levy lid lift. A "yes" vote would restore essential funding for library services across the four counties it serves. After 15 years without a tax rate increase, the library system faces severe service cuts without voter approval. We chat with FVRL Executive Director Jennifer Giltrop about why the library is so wonderful, what this levy lid lift is all about, and how we can support our community's cherished gathering places.
