The Sabres defeated the Nashville Predators 5-4 in overtime on January 24, lost to the Dallas Stars 4-3 on January 26, lost to the Montreal Canadiens 5-2 on January 31, lost in overtime to the New York Rangers 2-1 on February 2, and shut out the Ottawa Senators 4-0 on February 3. • Over-working of Rasmus Ristolainen and Ryan O’Reilly.
  • Would flipping Eichel to the wing and Reinhart to center benefit both players?
