Jerry is in law enforcement now and we won't use his last name, but you'll know him if you knew Joey in high school. We talk about breaking the cycle of poverty, how we used to 'speak broke" and can now translate that for our kids and how we hope our kids don't get complacent because they never felt the pain of real hunger.
