Very Relaxing Ambient Noise. We really just enjoy listening to nothing. Sounds of nature, sounds of the city. These are the sonic events we experience everyday in our lives, tuned in a way to create soothing noise to bathe your mind. A little quick one here. This was made with the Sony PCM-D50 near Seward, Alaska on a small island looking out at the ocean. The tide was pulling through a mess of stones that made this nice hollow clanging sound that ends up being soothing to the ears. Good for a quick meditation on the train or just a mid-day calm down.…

Rain in June, complete with faint sounds of Water Street in Manhattan. This was recorded using an old Made in Taiwan school tape recorder and my Sony PCM-D50. The tracks are layered on top of each other and left mostly unmixed.
