Not in the spotlight. Not when things are easy or obvious. But in the silence, in the waiting, in the in-between.
We often want clarity before we trust. But Scripture tells us in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “We walk by faith, not by sight.” That kind of faith—steady, unseen, real—is forged in the places we least expect. Isaiah 45:3 reminds us that God gives “treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places.” That means there is purpose in the quiet seasons. Strength and wisdom are often born in the places we’d rather skip.
Maybe you’re in one of those dark places now. Maybe it feels like nothing’s growing, nothing’s moving. But just like a seed planted in soil, God is working beneath the surface. What feels like burial might actually be planting.
God sees what others don’t. He honors what’s done in secret. And He’s building a kind of faith that lasts.
So if the lights are dim and the path is unclear—don’t give up. You’re not forgotten. You’re being formed.
