Petit Choux is French-born, Wellington-based singer-songwriter Sophie Sabri. The musical artist and therapist has just released her debut EP, titled, Coule.

Marty Duda found Petit Choux at home on release day. According to the artist, Coule, explores the idea of our “inner waters” — the deep, often unspoken currents of our being. The title, meaning “to flow” or “to sink” in French, reflects the delicate balance between surrender and strength. Water, the essence of life, serves as both a symbol of vitality and impermanence. It flows freely, shapes our world, yet is constantly changing — just as emotions and moments in life do.
