214. Why Do People Choose To Reject The Doctrine Of Election?
Manage episode 486440821 series 2820285
Election...a triggering term for some, but then again, God must have predetermined them to feel that way about it. Why do people reject this doctrine?
In today’s episode, Pastor Derek and Pastor Jackie talk through a listener question regarding the doctrine of election. We look at Scriptures that show that election is a biblical concept that God references often, but also dig into different theological views that bring so much energy and debate amongst Christian debates. We tackle why this doctrine is often rejected as well as practical ways to teach it in a way that is aligned with Scripture. We hope this is a helpful podcast for anyone interested in the biblical view of "election" and how it applies to our daily lives.
