It’s not always fun talking about pain points in your marketing, but I want to show you how you can talk about pain points and not feel like a salesy jerk. Your ideal client has a problem they want to solve. And your program or offer can solve that pain point. So you talking about pain points can help a lot of people to understand more about how you can help them. ...when you do it the right way.
TAKEAWAYS:
  • Speaking about pain points helps your audience feel understood. Your audience wants to feel seen and heard so when you talk about pain points, you are validating their experience and concerns.
  • You owe it to your audience to tell them what you offer. If you don’t call out these symptoms as a great fit to work with you, how will they ever know you can actually help them?
  • Not all marketing needs to be pain point marketing. Remember that there are 7 types of buyers and pain point marketing only targets one type of buyer. So use the pain point marketing technique, but don’t shift all your marketing.
