Hosts and PTSI Resilience Trainers John Salerno and Samantha Horwitz talk with Detective George Wilson with the Albermarle, NC Police Department on @A Badge of Honor Podcast.
Over the course of his career, George has handled numerous criminal investigations involving human trafficking, homicide, juvenile and internet crimes.
He is on a personal mission to utilize his training and experience to help cultivate, influence, and motivate a new generation of respectful, compassionate, and problem-solving law enforcement professionals who will serve victims and the community through morally, ethically, and legally sound interactions/investigations. George strives to provide each victim with a sense of normalcy during a time of upheaval by displaying empathy with compassion in addition to treating victims with the utmost respect, and believes it is the responsibility of every law enforcement professional to help restore the public’s confidence in law enforcement and reinforce the relationship between the communities we serve and our profession.

A Badge of Honor offers workshops to first responders across the nation, working with mental health liasons and critical incident management teams for Post Traumatic Stress Injury Recovery, wellness and resilience.
