S2. Ep. 16 A Fallen Cop's Living Legacy with Gotcha Covered Blankets
Manage episode 481771781 series 3399162
Hosts and PTSI Resilience Trainers John Salerno and Samantha Horwitz talk with Donna Georgiana & Chris Michael from Gotcha Covered Blankets on @A Badge of Honor TV.
Mitchell Georgiana was a Smyrna Police Officer who tragically took his own life on November 16, 2021. He had been a member of the Smyrna Police Department since 2020 and was part of the SWAT team. His family, including his parents Donna and Paul, started a nonprofit called Gotcha Covered Blankets in his memory to honor his kind acts and to help other officers. The foundation has distributed over 2,000 special blankets to police across Cobb County and the surrounding area, which officers use to provide comfort to those in need.
