In this episode, I chat with Dr Giles P Croft who is a psychology graduate and former NHS orthopaedic surgical trainee. He left clinical practice to create a career in Health Informatics. He has spoken to audiences about career change for the last decade and now runs a coaching business, working with individuals to help them manage life changes. We discuss career change, why people leave medicine, the steps you should take to manage life changes, how your psychology works and why an understanding of your psychology will help you get perspective on career change.
