In July, CrowdStrike systems went down, causing over 8 millions systems to crash. It turns out the error was not caused by a virus, international attack or otherwise- Just a faulty update being pushed out. For a programmer, that is the number one nightmare. We sort out just what happened and what it takes to keep your systems going even in the event of imminent peril.
