This is the sixth part of a mini-series on reading workshop in middle school.
I believe one of the most enjoyable components of reading workshop is conferencing. When done correctly, you will get to have conversations with kids about their books and guide them into higher-level strategies. And the best part is that it does NOT need to be a complicated system!
