Stop Being Disrespectful to Your Own Dreams | Rick Jordan
Manage episode 487029084 series 2922673
Listen up. I'm gonna give you some real talk today about something that's been eating at me. About how you handle your bad days. About the people who believe in you. And about the obligation you have to show up. Yeah I have bad days too. Days where I don't want to get out of bed at 6 AM. Days where I walk into my office and just don't feel like getting shit done. You know what I'm talking about because you're human just like me. Here's what I need you to understand. There's nothing wrong with having a bad day. Nothing wrong with feeling off sometimes. That's not a problem you need to fix. That's not an area of growth you need to work on. Sometimes everything is already okay with you and you can still feel these ways. But there's a threshold. A line you cannot cross. Because when your bad day becomes a bad week or a bad month, that's on you. That's a choice. That's you being lazy. And that lazy choice becomes pure disrespect to everyone who believes in you. When you allow yourself to stay stuck in that bad place for weeks or months, you're disrespecting every single person who chose to believe in you. You're disrespecting the obligations you chose to take on.
