Thank goodness we live in a world where slavery ended! Oh wait, it totally didn’t. Slavery exists in more countries than not. In about 85 percent of countries, in fact, or about 165 countries in 2022.
Chocolate! More than 70% of all the chocolate in the world comes from cacao beans grown, harvested, then processed into cocoa in West African countries, where uncompensated child labor, aka, slavery is common.
