Does using a DOF adapter in a mobile filmmaking setup (i.e. a smartphone) go against the entire idea of "mobile" filmmaking?
In this episode Blake considers the pros and cons of using the new Ulanzi DOF adapter. For those unfamiliar... DOF adapters connect photo lenses to a smartphone so you can get shallow depth-of-field and a more traditional cinematic look - however, they are bulky and often cumbersome to use.
