Welcome to another episode of the American Cattlemen Podcast. Today, Dustin chats with Noah Porter about SmaXTec, what it does and what makes it unique. Noah will then go into the benefit to having SmaXTec on Beef and Dairy calves. They will then discuss the role reducing involuntary culls plays in setting up a successful beef on dairy program. They will then close the discussion by talking about how farms with SmaXTec Boluses are leveraging calving alerts to help protect these newborns. Noah hails from Wayne County, Ohio, and grew up and around the beef cow calf operations. He went on to the Ohio State University to earn his undergraduate degrees in animal science, Dairy Science and ag business, followed by his master's in ruminant nutrition. Prior to joining the SmaXTec team, he worked for select sires and managed a dairy in Ohio. At SmaXTec, Noah's passion lies in helping dairy farmers use herd health monitoring data into actionable insights and profitable decision making. We hope you enjoy this episode.
