This week’s episode of Another Triathlon Podcast is absolutely stacked!

We kick things off with a Boston Marathon race recap from Josh, fresh off his massive PR and BQ effort at his hometown major. He shares what went right on race day, including pacing strategies, nutrition lessons, and the magic of racing relaxed.

From there, we dive into race coverage from Ironman Texas. Jenna-Caer was on the ground Travis Mundell from The Daily Tri with media access, capturing the action, and shares insider stories from transition zone chaos to mid-race mechanical drama (including Trevor Foley’s shoe mishap and Taylor Knibb’s crash at dismount!). Plus, the crew breaks down the pro races, including:

✔️ Kristian Blummenfelt taking the win and validating his spot for Nice
✔️ Antonio Benito shocking the field with a breakout 2nd place
✔️ Rudy von Berg steady as ever to snag 3rd and lead the Pro Series standings
✔️ Kat Matthews running down Taylor Knibb to take the women's title in record-breaking fashion
✔️ Lisa Perterer stepping onto the podium after a smart and strong day

We also chat about how race day at Texas felt elevated this year - from the new finish line setup to a bigger, better athlete and spectator experience. Major props to Ironman for raising the bar.

Finally, we cover Alex Yee's marathon debut at London Marathon (2:11!!), how triathletes are taking over the long-distance running world, and what’s coming next for the pro racing season.
